Nihar Ranjan Acharya is not only a prolific writer and columnist but also has dedicated his life to the study and dissemination of Vedic Philosophy. Though not a monk, Acharya finds great joy in gathering knowledge of Vedic Philosophy by following various spiritual masters, including Swami Srila Prabhupada, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sadhguru, Swami Sukhabodhananda, and others. With the blessings of Jagadguruuttam Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj and as an ardent disciple of Swami Mukundananda Ji, a spiritual Master and Genius, and Susri Braja Chakori Devi Ji, Susri Raseswari Devi Ji, two front-line preacher of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishad, Acharya has honed his understanding of ancient texts and spiritual traditions. His writings reflect a harmonious blend of scholarly rigor and spiritual depth, presenting Vedic Philosophy with a scientific and rational perspective.

He has cultivated and explored Vedic Philosophy exhaustively and intensively by sitting at the lotus feet of many spiritual masters including Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, Swami Mukundananda, Susri Braja Chakori Devi, and Susri Raseswari Devi, among others.
Acharya’s maternal younger brother Sri Nitai Das, previously known as Sri Satyadarshi Nanda, shares a deep connection to spiritual pursuits. Sri Nitai Das is an IIT Topper and has been a top performer throughout his academic and professional career. Now a full-time monk, he serves ISKCON worldwide. Nihar Ranjan Acharya is the ‘Scientific Officer’ of Indian Climate Congress – a prolific writer, science communicator, and environmentalist. He has founded TRUST (True Rationalistic Union of Samaj-seva Trainers) – a govt. registered ‘science lover organization promoting science, environment and other humanitarian activities since its inception on the year 2004. On behalf of TRUST, he has organized 600 popularization of science programs at various schools, colleges and universities and still continuing. He has contributed more than 300 articles to various leading journals and platforms, including ‘Science Horizon’, Bigyana Diganta, Green Windows, and Souvenir of UNESCO. He is also a singer, lyricist and a renowned Music Director and founder of popular YouTube Channel ‘Mood Swing Odisha’. He has composed more than 100 songs in Odia language. His patriotic songs viz., ‘Mo Desha’, ‘Mo Odisha’, ‘Udara Bharat Barsha’, ‘Biswa Janani Mo Desha’, have been praised from people across the globe, including Bollywood and Tollywood and Ollywood Celebrities and the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha, on multiple occasions.
Mr Acharya has written four books viz., “Understanding and Addressing Climate Change Vol.1” – a best seller book on climate change, Verse of Giving, Here, the search begins, “Exploring the Wonders: A Complete Guide to Scientific Thinking”, and delivered lectures in more than 600 institutions in various subjects. His designed programs ‘Building a Scientific Mind’, Expanding the Horizon of Thinking’, ‘Quest for Knowledge’, ‘Space Adventures – A Journey Beyond the Stars’, ‘Plant Today for a Better Tomorrow’, ‘Green Living’, ‘Earth Canvas’ and DaanUtsav Programs viz., Jina Isika Naam Hai, Do Kadam Tum Bhi Chalo, ‘Verses of Generosity’, have been appreciated among students and people at large.
Mr Acharya is professionally a Financial Expert and has served many prestigious corporates viz., ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Bharti Axa Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Aegon Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Max Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Reliance Nippon Life Insurance Co. Ltd., in Senior Managerial positions.
