Graphene, the starting materiial for carbon nanostructures has attracted sttrong scientific and technological interest in recennt years. It has shown great promise in manyy applications, such as electronics, energy storage and conversion (e.g. super capacitors, batteriies, fuel cells, solar cells, and bioscience/biotechnnologies). Graphene is a zero-bandgap semicconductor material, which is electroactive and opttically transparent.
