Dr. Gunjan Goyal is a research-driven biologist and science communicator with expertise in natural product research, phytochemistry, and technical writing. As a Creative Editor at Vigyaksha, she combines her scientific training with a passion for simplifying complex ideas into engaging educational and creative content.
She earned her Ph.D. in Botany from Panjab University, Chandigarh, where she investigated the phytotoxic and antioxidant potential of Melaleuca leucadendra essential oil, applying GC-MS profiling and statistical tools for data interpretation. She also successfully led a UGC-sponsored project on the bioprospecting of aromatic plants and presented her work at national and international scientific forums.
Dr. Goyal has authored peer-reviewed publications, received the 1st Prize in Oral Presentation at Chandigarh Science Congress (2013), and consistently excelled as a top academic performer. Beyond research, she has built a strong presence as a biology educator and content creator, running the YouTube channel Gunjan’s Biology Classes, where she develops interactive learning resources for undergraduate, postgraduate, and competitive exam students.
