Dr. Bishwambhar Mishra is a biotechnology researcher and academician whose expertise spans microbial technology, fermentation science, environmental biotechnology, and sustainable biomaterials. As a Scientific Editor at Vigyaksha, he is dedicated to advancing scientific accuracy, interdisciplinary knowledge exchange, and impactful research communication.
He earned his Integrated M.Tech–Ph.D. in Biotechnology from VIT University, Vellore, where his doctoral work focused on optimization of fermentation conditions for pullulan production and its biomedical applications. Currently, he serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology (CBIT), Hyderabad, where he teaches and mentors at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Dr. Mishra has authored over 78 peer-reviewed publications in SCOPUS-indexed and high-impact journals, achieving more than 1,700 citations with an h-index of 23. He is also a book editor with Springer, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley, and serves in editorial roles for Frontiers in Pharmacology, Frontiers in Oncology, and Energy Nexus.
Recognized with prestigious awards including the Gandhian Young Technological Innovation Award (2013) and Best Teacher Award (2014–15), he brings both scholarly rigor and pedagogical excellence to his editorial role.
