Dr. Bandita Pati is an Editor of Vigyaksha, a dedicated science educator and food technologist with more than a decade of experience in biotechnology, microbiology, and sustainable food systems. She holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from Ravenshaw University, Odisha, India, and has actively contributed to the fields of microbial ecology, agricultural biotechnology, and food technology.

Her professional expertise spans laboratory science, microbial fermentation, analytical method validation, and science communication. Dr. Pati has been involved in laboratory quality systems, technical training, and public outreach on topics related to biofertilizers and sustainable agriculture. She has participated in national scientific projects and has presented her work at numerous conferences and research forums across India.

Dr. Pati is a recipient of the Biju Patnaik Research Fellowship awarded by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Odisha, and has qualified for the ICAR-NET. Her scientific publications focus on agricultural biotechnology, food technology, and the application of plant growth–promoting bacteria.
