About National Seminar :
We are delighted to present the Abstract Book for the National Seminar on Role of Zoological Research in Achieving Sustainable Development Goals (RZRASDG-2025), organized by the Department of Zoology. This seminar is a timely initiative that brings together researchers, academicians, and students to explore the critical contributions of zoological studies towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In an era where sustainable development has become an essential global priority, the significance of zoological research cannot be overstated. From biodiversity conservation and climate action to sustainable agriculture, public health, and ecosystem management, the insights drawn from zoological sciences play a pivotal role in shaping sustainable futures. This seminar aims to highlight these interdisciplinary linkages and foster innovative ideas that bridge research and real-world impact.
The abstracts compiled in this volume reflect the diversity, depth, and dynamism of contemporary zoological research. They represent a wide range of topics, methodologies, and perspectives, all unified by a common purpose — contributing meaningfully to global sustainability efforts.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all the contributors for their valuable submissions, to the reviewers for their meticulous evaluations, and to the organizing team for their dedication in making this event possible. We hope that this collection of abstracts will serve as a valuable reference and inspire further research, collaboration, and action toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
We wish all participants a fruitful and engaging seminar experience.
Organizing Committee.
